CARE House provides programs and services for children and families which span a continuum of care. All programs and services are provided at no cost to the children and families served.
Advocacy – The CASA [Court-Appointed Special Advocates] Program provides volunteer advocates for children who have been removed from their homes and are wards of the court due to abuse and neglect. To learn more about the CASA program, click here.
Community Outreach – The Stewards of Children child abuse prevention education teaches adults how to take responsibility for stopping child sexual abuse. To learn more about Stewards of Children, click here.
Intervention – When abuse is suspected, CARE House provides a safe place where a child's voice can be heard. It coordinates a multi-disciplinary team [MDT] to observe a forensic interview of the child victim. To learn more about Intervention services, click here.
Prevention- Early Head Start provides in-home Family Specialists for vulnerable families, from pre-natal support until the child reaches age of three. To learn more about Prevention services, click here.
Treatment – Individual therapy, a therapy group for teen girls, and weekly Family Support Group, all help guide child victims and their non-offending family members on the path to healing. To learn more about Therapeutic services, click here.
