Device Limits

Let's talk about setting limits on electronic devices. It can be difficult to set screen time limits, for our children AND for ourselves. Screens are everywhere. It's increasingly difficult to manage not only our own screen time, but the screen time our kids are getting. Here are some researched-based recommendations for setting good limits around devices:

- No screen time for children under 2 years old.
- One hour per day for children 2 to 5 years old.
- Two hours per day for teens and adults.
- Encourage healthy habits and limit activities that include screens for kids 6 and older.
- Set a good example by modeling healthy screen time habits.
