Safe Sleep for Infants 💤

As caregivers, nothing is more important than our baby's safety and well-being, especially during sleep. Creating a safe sleep environment is crucial to promote healthy development and reduce the risk of SIDS. Here are some guidelines to ensure your little one sleeps soundly and safely:

🌟 Back to Sleep: Always place your baby on their back to sleep, for both naps and nighttime. This significantly lowers the risk of SIDS. Once they can roll over on their own, they're good to go!

🌟 Clear Sleep Area: Keep the crib clutter-free. No loose bedding, toys, or stuffed animals that could pose a suffocation hazard. Opt for a snug sleep sack or cozy sleepwear instead.

🌟 Firm Mattress: Use a firm crib mattress that fits snugly into the crib. Say no to crib bumpers; they can be dangerous.

🌟 Share the Room, Not the Bed: Babies should sleep in the same room as you but not in the same bed. Consider a bassinet, crib, or co-sleeper.

🌟 No Smoking or Vaping: Keep your baby's environment smoke-free. Exposure to smoke increases the risk of SIDS.
